Common problems with poorly constructed MCQs can include vague stems, subjective lead-ins, and implausible distractors that fail to challenge learners. The presentation offers ways of recognizing and the skills to be able to create solutions such as clear and specific stems, closed-ended lead-ins, and plausible distractors that test critical thinking. The goal of the workshop is to demonstrates how to troubleshoot and improve flawed questions to enhance their educational value.
